Course overview
This course is only open to selected University of Maryland students.
This module provides students with the opportunity to critically appraise some of the major theoretical perspectives and the underlying values that have influenced and shaped the epistemology of social work. Furthermore, a range of approaches and models of intervention will be evaluated in the context of their credibility and effectiveness in enabling people with lived experience to benefit from the helping process
