This course is for NHS staff who have already passed the Expressions of Interest (EOI) process with their NHS Trust and the Centre for Advancing Practice team at National Health Service England (NHSE).
This module supports Advanced Clinical Practitioners (ACP) to develop a portfolio of evidence which demonstrates their knowledge, skills and capabilities when working as an ACP. The module is non- credit bearing however, successful students will receive a ‘Digital Badge’ from the Centre for Advancing Practice, NHSE.

Prerequisites
Students must be approved by their NHS Trust and the Centre for Advancing Practice team at NHSE.
ASSESSMENT
Develop an e-Portfolio, submitting evidence of both competence and knowledge of the 38 capabilities of advanced practice as identified by the Centre of Advancing Practice (NHSE).
Submit a 3500 word (maximum) critical narrative demonstrating competence and knowledge of the four pillars (Clinical Practice, Leadership & Management, Education and Research) of Advanced Care Practice.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
Successfully complete and pass the Centre of Advancing Practice (NHSE) eportfolio (supported) Route.
Produce evidence of critical engagement with current research at the forefront of a relevant discipline via the e-portfolio.
